This is the question that lands in my inbox most often when a big show is coming up. And I get it. If you’re exhibiting in Orlando you’ve already paid for the booth, the flights, the hotel and the team. Video comes last in the budget, and the budget is usually tight by then.
But it’s the one thing from the show that keeps working after the hall closes. So it’s worth knowing what you’re actually paying for.
What drives the price
In practice, three things.
First, filming time. For most booths, half a day is enough. A full day only makes sense if you have a talk, a launch or a lot of products to show.
Second, what you get at the end. One recap video is one job. Ten short videos, each about something different, is a very different one.
Third, turnaround. Same-day delivery means someone is editing while the show is still going on.
There’s a fourth item people tend to forget: travel. If the crew flies in, you’re paying for flights, hotels and moving the equipment. A crew that’s already in Orlando doesn’t have that cost.
How we charge
I got tired of quotes that drag on for weeks, so I set two fixed-price packages for trade shows:
- Booth coverage, US$ 2,000: 4 hours of filming at your booth and 10 reels of up to 60 seconds each.
- Booth coverage with testimonial, US$ 2,800: the same thing, plus one client testimonial recorded within those 4 hours.
With both, you get 2 reels the same day and the other 8 within 10 business days.
Why reels and not one long video
Because people watch a long video once, if they watch it at all. Ten short videos become ten posts: the product in action, a word from your director, the busy booth, a testimonial, a bit of behind the scenes. That’s several weeks of content, filmed in one afternoon.
How to book
Slots per show are limited, because the crew will already be filming for other clients at the same event. If you want to hold a time, email me with the package and the day you’d prefer: cristiano@brazucafilmes.com.br.
